Hello everyone,
Please see the announcement below about an upcoming Coastal Training Program event being coordinated by Waquoit Bay NERR and the Coastal Services Center that focuses on management techniques for visitor use in coastal areas. According to CSC, the audience should be comprised of managers - those individuals who have direct responsibility for managing land and water areas - not the general public. Unfortunately, the low number of audience members (less than 50 - necessitated by the use of break-out sessions and small group reports) will limit audience diversity. If you are interested, please contact Paul Ticco using his contact information below. He has spoken with people from Stellwagen Bank, the National Seashore, Mass Audubon, DCR, and some land trusts. If you know of others who might be interested, please pass this along to them...thanks!
