In case your interested....should be fun!

“Sea Kayakers Paradise” The Eastern Shores of Nova Scotia

Come paddle the island archipelago off of Tangier, Nova Scotia with the
North and South Rivers Watershed Association, September 28 to October 4.

Join Ned Bangs, long time paddler and Marshfield recreation director and
Doug Lowry, NSRWA board member and senior sea kayak instructor for the
National Outdoor Leadership School. We will explore crescent sand beaches,
hundreds of quartzite islets and acres of Pitcher plants and sundew that
define Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore.

Early fall is an ideal time to paddle, the water is at it’s warmest, the
summer crowds are gone and spots of foliage interrupt the spruce landscape.

We will camp a few nights at a campground with full facilities as well as a
night or two camping on offshore islands. Back-country gourmet meals and
all kayaking and camping gear are included in the price of $700 for the
week. Transportation to Nova Scotia is not included. All proceeds go to
benefit the NSRWA.

Beginners are welcome, we will include a day long introduction to paddling
in early September to help you get ready for the trip.

Call the NSRWA office at 7781-659-8168 for more information and to sign up
for our informational meeting July 31.
