Copies of Nor'easter, the regional magazine of the northeast Sea Grant
programs (1989-1999), are available from WHOI Sea Grant at no charge.
For those not familiar with the publication, Nor'easter articles
provided information about marine issues that affect us in our region,
our states, and in our daily lives. Certain topics recurred throughout
Nor'easter's life: fisheries, fishery management, and habitat
preservation; aquaculture; seafood safety; coastal hazards and hazard
mitigation; water quality, monitoring, and stewardship; and
biotechnology. Through these topics, the magazine records 10 years of
Sea Grant progress in major areas of research, education, outreach, and
communications.
Available quantities vary per issue, but requests are encouraged for as
many complete sets or individual copies you would like. For a complete
list of the issues/articles, visit
