Hello, We're looking for a few good volunteers who enjoy walking the
beach, watching birds and educating other beach users. Training is this
Wednesday at Waquoit Bay Reserve Headquarters. Plover monitors are
expected to monitor the beach once a week (usually takes a couple of
hours - we're very flexible on the timing). Most of the routes are on
South Cape Beach although we could use people with boats to monitor
Washburn Island. For further information or to sign up, call 457-0495.
