[SEMCO] Spring Workshop Schedule Available

The Spring 2002 Coastal Decision-Maker workshop schedule is available for downloading by clicking on the news section of the Waquoit Bay Reserve website at www.waquoitbayreserve.org/news.htm.

The schedule details workshops being held this spring by the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, WHOI Sea Grant, and the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management.  Workshop topics include: smart growth; stabalizing dunes and coastal banks; MORIS and ArcView training; wastewater management districts; ACECs; QPX shellfish disease; energy efficiency for municipalities; coastal hazards; submerged aquatic vegetation; and aquaculture business.  All of the workshops are designed to address the scientific and technical needs of people whose decisions affect the health of the coast.

Duplication and circulation of the schedule is encouraged.
