Greetings!
The Northeast Sea Grant programs are pleased to announce the debut of
our new and improved regional web site. Additions to the site include
the “Features” section which highlights current topics of interest
around the region, a (growing) “Resource Center” of links to sites of
particular interest to teachers and students, and “Ask Sea Grant” for
answers to marine-related questions. Archives of previously featured
monthly topics remain in place. We invite you to set a bookmark to and
check out the new features at
http://web.mit.edu/seagrant/northeast/index.html.

---------------------------------
The Northeast Region of Sea Grant includes those programs in
Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and
Massachusetts, at MIT and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. All
these programs are part of the National Sea Grant College Program.
Administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA), Sea Grant is a network of 30 individual programs located in each
of the coastal and Great Lakes states.
Through a combination of research, education, and outreach, Sea Grant
works to promote the wise use and sustainable development of our coastal
and marine resources.
