The announcement below invites one and all - but especially SE =
Massachusetts volunteer monitors to a workshop on data presentation.  =
We'll try to make this a "hands on the data" workshop - i.e. as much =
practice as lecture / demonstration. =20

Those wishing to attend, please  contact Chantal Newman of the Urban =
Harbors Institute, as mentioned below.

Early registration will enhance your experience at the workshop. We will =
ask registrants to do a small amount (8 pages) of advance reading, which =
will help participants frame specific questions they may have about =
their own data.  And, as mentioned below,  we'll use data from 2 or 3 =
groups who contact us in advance as case studies; so their data will =
receive the benefit of interpretation by the entire class.

Volunteer Monitoring groups in Southeast Massachusetts are invited to a =
data interpretation workshop. Other MA monitoring groups are also =
welcome, as space allows.=20

This is your chance to get help making sense of your data. This workshop =
teaches concepts and offers an opportunity to practice data =
interpretation. We will use data from 2 or 3 volunteer monitoring =
groups. If you want to be one of those lucky groups, contact us =
immediately! As much as time allows, we will also examine other groups' =
data if they bring it.=20
