> The Terrestrial Information Systems Lab (619) and the Ocean Ecology Laboratory (616) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) are seeking a research analyst or a postdoctoral candidate to support the activities associated with the intercalibration of optical systems over open seas and snowfields. The research focus is on the intercomparisons of moderate resolution images (i.e., Landsat and Sentinel-2) and relatively coarse resolution products derived from VIIRS, MODIS, and OLCI. The intercalibration and inter consistency analyses are carried out to better understand the discrepancies in downstream Earth science products for coastal/inland waters and for cryosphere. The task includes developments and modifications of intercalibration procedures for the calibrated top-of-atmosphere radiance/reflectance products as well as for the radiometric products near the Earth surface (e.g., remote sensing reflectance). The candidate will develop tools for automated interconsistency anal
