* Description: TIDE is one of the leading conservation organizations
in the Mesoamerican region working to protect some of the most
pristine coastal and marine ecosystems in Central America. TIDE

resources. The Science Communications Intern will work under the
supervision of the Science Director to support all activities of the
Research and Monitoring Department at TIDE. This is an

* Description: The Intern will support the FiSC by spearheading the
development of a web-based decision support tool that can be
accessed and used by fishery managers and scientists around the
world. The tool will focus on multispecies fisheries, which have
been historically challenging to manage due to complex social,
economic and biological conditions. The purpose of the tool will be
to provide fishery management recommendations to multispecies
fishery managers worldwide, given the fishery's characteristics,
goals and phase of reform. The Intern will be responsible for
working collaboratively with the FiSC team to create a simple
web-based decision support tool that meets these goals, and to

* Description: WCS seeks a marine conservation and fisheries research
professional to support our global shark and ray conservation
efforts. This position is a full-time position with benefits. The
Shark and Ray Associate Conservation Scientist will provide
scientific and technical advice to shark and ray projects conducted
by WCS Marine staff worldwide, and provide support and oversight to
related fundraising activities and the development, prioritization
and implementation of field-level activities. He/she will work as
part of a team in overall strategic development, program planning,
research initiatives, and program and project implementation for all
shark and ray field conservation activities. He/she will be the lead
scientific advisor for shark and ray conservation in the WCS Marine
Program and, as such, will be responsible for integrating scientific
and research activities into program implementation, guiding
technical decisions, providing specific input for on-site decisions
and, as applicable, presenting and publishing the results of WCS's
shark and ray conservation activities.
