    Diversity Specialist, helping to create, coordinate, and lead our

3. Chief Financial Officer

  * Organization: National Marine Sanctuary Foundation
  * Location: Silver Spring, MD
  * Description: As a key member of the senior management team, the CFO
    participates in the development and implementation of the
    organization's strategic planning, and oversees the organization's
    financial operations. This includes oversight of all financial
    transactions and the monthly accounting cycle in accordance with
    Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other accepted
    policies, as well as oversight of policy development relating to the
    organization's financial operations. It further includes
    coordination of financial matters with other departments and
    programs of the organization, as well as sanctuary-related,
    site-based programs. The CFO supervises the staff of the finance
    department, within limits of the budget, in such a way that all
    departmental responsibilities are handled effectively and
    professionally. With the President and CEO, the CFO serves as
    primary liaison with the Board of Trustees, and works closely with

4. Aquarium Partnership Coordinator

  * Organization: Monterey Bay Aquarium
  * Location: Washington DC
  * Description: The Aquarium Conservation Partnership (ACP) seeks a
    qualified, independent consultant (the "Consultant") with the
    capacity and skills to coordinate a new conservation partnership
    among a consortium of leading U.S. aquariums. This two-year pilot
    initiative will begin in January 2016 and conclude in December 2017.
    The ACP is seeking proposals from qualified firms and individuals
    possessing the skills, contacts and staff talent to meet a set of
    two-year outcomes. Ideally, proposers will designate a primary point
    of contact to act in a coordinator role for the entire two-year
    pilot period. The Consultant will be responsible for supporting the
    execution of the ACP's 2016-17 Conservation Action Agenda by working
    closely with a Steering Committee comprised of the member aquariums.
    The Consultant will work closely with a six-member Executive
    Committee, with the Steering Committee Chair acting as the primary
    point of contact for the day to day work of the Consultant.

5. Senior Associate, U.S. Oceans (Campaigning/Outreach)

    This role is based in Washington DC and will work collaboratively
    with the team to establish an ecosystem-based approach to fisheries
    management in U.S. law and policy. This role will lead

    recommendations to promote Pew's policy objectives within the U.S.

6. Senior Associate, Protecting Ocean Life on the High Seas

8. Marine Scientist

  * Organization: Division of Shellfish Sanitation
  * Location: Lancaster, VA, Norfolk, VA
  * Description: The Division of Shellfish Sanitation (VDH-DSS) is
    mandated to conduct risk assessments of shellfish growing areas, and
    closed areas not meeting National Shellfish Sanitation Program
    (NSSP) criteria. As a result, Virginia currently has nearly 90,000
    acres of waters closed to the direct harvest of shellfish due to
    impaired water quality. This position will be located in White Stone
    and is one of three new positions dedicated to conducting pollution
    source assessments and enhanced water quality monitoring for the
    purpose of addressing water quality impairments in shellfish growing
    areas. The position will be responsible for conducting
    investigations of impairments to shellfish growing areas to
    determine possible pollution source and remediation opportunities;
    performing sample collection, data analysis and assessment of
    hydrographic and meteorological factors that influence the
    distribution, residence time and fate of pollutants; development of
    management plans for areas with predictable patterns of pollution;
    and pollution event/emergency response sampling and assessment.

9. Water Monitoring Specialist

    the Tidewater Regional Office (TRO) Water Quality Monitoring

10. Fisheries Management Specialist
