spectrum of marine interests and activities. The Coordinator role
offers a creative and self-driven person the opportunity to continue
to expand the DCMC network and drive the growth of the community. At
a minimum, the Coordinator will provide services and engagement to
the broader DC marine community by maintaining the list serve,
producing a weekly (at least) newsletter and managing social
networking sites, and engaging with existing and new DCMC partners
for joint meetings and networking opportunities. Beyond that, the
sky is the limit, especially if you are a strong fundraiser. IUCN's
international reach and deep subject matter expertise offers a
platform from which one can explore numerous and exciting ideas and
goals.
