We have a call comming up a to very lucrative post doc, do any of you have  strong post canditates who could be intereste in working in my group, the prime issue is the candidate, then we can polish the topic after wards,

Resently Rodrigo Almeda to work with got a grant so this is that type of candidates that we are looking for, You know about our ongoing North atlantic/Greenland work.

 I am also very interested in the genetics in coexsisting populations of C. fin and C. glas on both sides of Greenland, wee just got a paper acceptede where we morphological can distinguish the pure ssp, but from Canada we know the interbreed so the field is open.

Kære Alle,

HC Ørsted er muligheden for at hente en rigtig dygtig, ung forsker ind udefra (hele verden).

HC Ørsted postdoc ordningen er i år udvidet til dobbelt så mange postdocs, og to års finansiering i stedet for et (dvs. 20 postdocs i 24 måneder).

Det bliver annonceret internationalt d. 13. februar – dvs. vi vil formentligt få henvendelser fra interesserede kandidater.

Der bliver eksternt review.

Ansøgerne bliver opfordret til at vedlægge et letter of confirmation hvor instituttet angiver at man er indstillet på at modtage kandidaten, og instituttet vil også blive bedt om at lave alignment rating af ansøgningerne.

Deadline for ansøgerne (som skal komme udefra) er 6. april.

Det vil være fint hvis I løbende holder mig orienteret om de kandidater I er i kontakt med – da vi vil få en kort frist til at lave alignment rating lige inden Påske.
