Hi All,

Just passing along this new posting for a Lecturer in Marine Biology  
at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The position is only  
for 9 months but the chair told me that the plan is to hire a tenure  
track Marine Biology position in the next cycle.

The Department of Biology and Marine Biology at the University of  
North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time  
lecturer in Marine Biology.  Candidates in any area of Marine Biology  
are encouraged to apply.  The successful candidate will teach 12  
contact hours of introductory marine biology and advanced courses in  
their specialty.  This is a 9 month appointment for the 2014-2015  
academic year.  The Department offers B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology  
and Marine Biology, and a Ph.D. in Marine Biology. Candidates must  
have a Ph.D. in biology or related discipline, and a demonstrated  
commitment to excellence in teaching.
