Wyle is expected to fill an Oceanic scientist position.The tasks of the 
position include comparison of ocean climate reanalysis with in situ 
observations, ocean observing simulation experiments, analysis of El 
Niño -- Southern Oscillation (ENSO) coupled variability, and analysis of 
modes of ocean variability (e.g., PDO, AMOC) in observations and coupled 
model simulations.

The candidate should hold a PhD in atmospheric/Oceanic 
sciences.Experience in coupled air-sea interactions, analysis of modes 
of oceanic variability, ocean data assimilation, and ocean observing 
system, and HTML, is preferred.Familiarity with NCEP's modeling and 
ocean data assimilation systemsis desirable.Proficiency with UNIX/Linux 
shell scripts, FORTRAN, GrADS, and skillful in oral and written 
communication are also required.
