[All-postdocs] WHOI PDA Academic Job Applications Workshop: soliciting suggested discussion hosts

Hello Postdocs,

We will be hosting our annual Academic Job Applications Workshop this fall. This 6-week series will consist of interactive workshops and feedback sessions covering Cover Letters & CVs, Research Statements, Teaching Statements, DEI Statements, Interview & Negotiation, and shared experiences from recent hires. We will meet Wednesdays 1:30-3pm for panel discussions and Thursdays 10-11:30am for interactive feedback and small group discussions beginning Wednesday September 24th.

We are writing to solicit feedback on whom you would like to hear from, particularly (1) scientists to speak on the topics listed above (2) current postdocs and recent hires who can share their job application experiences (3) anyone who may be willing to share their application materials (all materials will be shared only with WHOI postdocs).
