Art & STEM Education: Exploring Intersections Between Art and STEM in K-12 Learning Environments

About: In this talk, Aditi Wagh will share examples from education research in which engaging in movement and dance, art and play expanded opportunities for K-12 learners to participate in and learn STEM. She will discuss some of the ways in which the arts open up possibilities for new ways of sense making in K-12 environments.

Following the Presentation: The participants will rotate through a number of breakout rooms with the individual scientists and artists to learn about their collaborations and projects.  This will include videos and images of the artwork.
