I have a dog and two cats that would appreciate your company.  There  is a support system (friends and neighbors) for occasional absences, a  house keeper to check up on you, and possible transport.  The dog is  as awesome as a 10 year old can be, wants a couple of 20 minute walks  a day and prefers the 'dog pile' option for night time repose.
