[All-postdocs] cruise opportunity

Dear students and postdocs,
If you’re bummed about the fact that you’re at an oceanographic institution but might never get to go to sea, I have an opportunity for you (or anyone else who is interested). I’m looking for someone to go out on the R/V Armstrong for 12 days (Apr 12-24) to help with CTD casts and zooplankton sampling. You don’t need to know anything about these activities, and no at-sea experience is necessary. The work will be rather minimal, so it’s a good opportunity to get away from your office but still get plenty of computer work done. We will be piggy backing on the OOI turnaround cruise that services the Pioneer Array south of us near the shelf break—so departing from and returning to Woods Hole. You’d be working at night with two other technicians, while most of the folks worked during the day on the OOI moorings.
