Hello –
For your information, the new season of adult ESL classes at St. Patrick Church in Falmouth will start soon. Registration is on Wed., Sept. 6, from 6:30 to 8:00 (see attached announcement). Would you make this information known to anyone who might be interested?
We offer about six different levels, from beginner to advanced. There’s no academic credit, but we give a certificate to students who complete a year. Some find the certificate useful for further study or work.
We are flexible about accepting students throughout the year, as long as their English is at a reasonably appropriate level for a class in progress (i.e., at midyear not a total beginner) and there is still space. If you wanted to refer a student later, he or she could e-mail me or call me at 508-563-2492.
Thank you for referring people in the past. Over the past 17 years we’ve had students of many different nationalities (up to 46 now), ages, and educational backgrounds.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Susan P. Morrison, coordinator and teacher
