*The Big Chili Contest is on Martha's Vineyard this weekend:
*

The MVY Radio Big Chili Contest will take place Saturday, March 25, at 
the PA Club in Oak Bluffs.

Tickets are available at www.mvyradio.com <http://www.mvyradio.com>. The 
event benefits the Vineyard’s Red Stocking Fund.

Doors open at the PA Club at 10:30 AM. Music will begin at 11:30 AM and 
go to 6 PM.

Acts that are scheduled to perform include the Mariachi Mexico Lindo 
Band, the BaHa Brothers, Syndicate, and DJ Alvzie. Jenny Johnson, 
celebrity judge from NESN’s Dining Playbook, will make her 6th Big Chili 
Party appearance. DJ Alvzie is returning for his 7th appearance.

Chili contestants will compete for prizes and special category 
prizes—including cash awards—as selected by the attendees.

Buses will pick up off-island attendees at the Steamship Authority in 
Vineyard Haven beginning at 10:15 AM and transport them to the PA Club 
in Oak Bluffs.

Buses will also return people from the PA Club back to the ferry. The 
buses are free of charge.
