SoundHAB: Heterosigma bloom

Monday morning 13Aug2012 a bloom of Heterosigma has been sited near Fort
Ward, south Bainbridge Island.  The initial count was 450,000 cells/L from
that area.   The sample was taken at the end of the ebb tide, so it could
mean that the bloom is at least partially located in Port Orchard,
Brownsville or other Kitsap County waters on the west side of Bainbridge
Island, but at this point that is only speculation.

Safford, AGS technicians.
