SoundHAB: Bloom Situation BC Sept 13 07

We have a bloom of a probable Chattonella species in Esperanza Inlet, on
the mid-W side of Vancouver Island.  Cell counts in samples received
yesterday were max ~90 cells/mL, but farms in that area were seeing
mortalities.  More samples should be arriving today or tomorrow.
Heterosigma is still present in samples from many areas around the
island.  Concentrations are generally fairly low, with a maximum here in
Nanaimo of 700 cells/mL in the 1m sample.
