SoundHAB: HAB Prediction and Response Report now available for public comment

I've been asked to circulate this message -

The Harmful Algal Bloom and Hypoxia Research and Control Act 
(HABHRCA), as amended in 2004, mandated a report on HAB Prediction 
and Response.  The draft report, entitled A National Assessment of 
Efforts to Predict and Respond to Harmful Algal Blooms in U.S. 
Waters, (Prediction and Response Report),  was published in the 
Federal Register on September 27, 2006 for public comment.   The 
Prediction and Response Report is the first step in a process to 
develop a coordinated national research agenda for improving HAB 
prediction and response, and input from the research and management 
community will be instrumental to create an effective and coordinated 
strategy.

directions for providing comments.  In addition, if you would like to
