[SEMCO] Black Bear program December 8 - 6:30 pm

BEARS IN OUR WOODS! On Friday, December 8, 6:30 - 7:30 the Marion Natural History Museum will welcome Steven Wright and Jason Zimmer, wildlife biologists with the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, who will be giving a presentation on Black Bears in Massachusetts.
Black bears are found throughout much of state including southeastern Massachusetts. Let's learn what steps to take to protect your home and property and what to do if you encounter a black bear. We'll also hear a little about their life history and why they're here.
Let's learn about our bear population so that we can be respectful toward our wild neighbors.
