Activities to increase capacity for future implementation of stormwater green infrastructure, including development of stormwater bylaws, maintenance trainings for municipal staff, and project case studies, are also eligible. Public outreach may be funded as a component of a larger project. In addition, applicants with completed habitat restoration plans funded with a previous CHWQ Grant can apply for restoration implementation funds. Grant awards for assessment, restoration planning, and design projects are estimated to range between $50,000-$100,000, while awards for implementation projects are estimated to range between $100,000-$800,000. Match is optional but recommended up to 25% of the total project cost.
