Maine Seaweed Week

is happening alongside the symposium!

Maine Seaweed Week is the largest seaweed food and drink festival in the US, with over 80 participating restaurants, bars, breweries, and makers. From April 21-30th, businesses in Portland and around the state will feature unique seaweed dishes and specials, highlighting the kelp harvest season and food from Maine's working waterfront.
