Professional learning workshop for informal and formal educators Grades 6-12.



Spend the day learning from top researchers from WHOI and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy about sharks on Cape Cod.  We will learn about current white shark research projects in the Northwest Atlantic, how these top predators interact with their environment, and share activities and curricula you can use in your classroom.  This brand new middle school curriculum has hands-on classroom activities that focus on the underwater equipment used in shark tagging, and we will discuss the historical events that have led to changes in marine wildlife on Cape Cod.  Take home a thumb drive with background material and classroom activities.
