MBL Seeks Visitor Experience Coordinator (Seasonal Position)

The Marine Biological Laboratory is seeking a responsible and energetic team member to lead summer public outreach activities and provide a welcoming, engaging, and friendly experience for visitors. This position will be responsible for leading guided weekday public tours and assisting with other hands-on public visitor engagement programs. Successful candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for introducing visitors to MBL research and making science accessible to the public. This position is temporary (mid-June– August).

Education/Experience:  Desirable to have, or be working on, a bachelor’s degree.  Experience working with the public, preferably in museum or educational settings, preferred but not required. Knowledge of local marine species and the Cape Cod marine environment is helpful.
