WHOI and the FPL are co-sponsoring a talk with Larry Madin titled Inner-Space Aliens, TODAY from 3-4 p.m. in the library's Hermann Meeting Room. The organisms of Earth's 'inner space' - the oceans are so alien in appearance and behavior to what most people know. Following a video on 'Blue Water Diving,' Larry will give a short presentation to illustrate more of the biology of the open ocean and deep sea and its connection to the rest of the world and society. A discussion and Q&A period will follow. Larry Madin is WHOI's Deputy Director Emeritus and Senior Science Advisor.
