Welcome to the second annual MBL March Madness!

Based on the March Madness NCAA basketball tournament, but instead of basketball teams, your favorite MBL organisms will face off and YOU will have the opportunity to decide what organism is crowned victorious by voting for your favorite organisms in a series of head-to-head match-ups.

Tell Us Your Predictions!
Send your completed bracket to MarchMadness at mbl.edu by 11:59PM ET on March 27 for a chance to a $50 gift card to the MBL Gift Shop<http://giftshop.mbl.edu/>. Download your bracket here<https://www.mbl.edu/sites/default/files/2022-03/fillable%20bracket%202022_0.pdf>. You can fill it in on your computer or by hand and send us a photo.

Vote for Your Favorites
Voting will take place on social media on Twitter<https://www.twitter.com/mblscience> and Instagram<https://www.instagram.com/mblwoodshole> and via a Google Poll<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfY6JAHDb_EogBBggWvYOdyBUkUeZI0AeZK-ZtAiVBRIOPPeg/viewform?usp=sf_link>. From Monday, March 28 – Wednesday, April 6, you will have the opportunity to vote on TWO match-ups every day. Voting will take place between 12 p.m. and 9 a.m. ET. Each match-up will be posted on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

  *   Instagram: Head to our Instagram stories<https://www.instagram.com/mblwoodshole> and vote in the live poll.
  *   Twitter: A match-up poll will go live on our Twitter feed<https://www.twitter.com/mblscience> every day at 12 p.m. ET. Vote for your preferred organism in the poll, just commenting below will not count as a vote!
  *   Google Poll: Vote daily in the live poll at go.mbl.edu/MarchMadnessVote<https://go.mbl.edu/MarchMadnessVote>.
Voting closes at 9 a.m. ET each day, we will tally the total of all votes across Instagram, Twitter, and the Poll and announce the winners of the previous day's match up before that day's voting opens again at 12 p.m. ET.
