Pursuant to the federal Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended, a public meeting will be held as part of the federal performance evaluation of the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (WBNERR). The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve Visitor Center, 131 Waquoit Hwy (Rt. 28), Waquoit (E. Falmouth), MA 02536, to provide an opportunity for members of the public to express their opinions about the implementation of the reserve. Written comments are encouraged, and participation at the public meeting is not required for submission. Stakeholders and members of the public may provide written comments by email to Ralph.Cantral at NOAA.gov<mailto:Ralph.Cantral at NOAA.gov> no later than Friday, July 1, 2022.

As both a DCR property and one of the 30 federally designated National Estuarine Research Reserves in the U.S., WBNERR is largely administered by DCR in partnership with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric (NOAA.)
