ANNUAL BLUEBERRY DAY IN THE JAM KITCHEN

Annual Blueberry Day takes place on Saturday, August 13th at the Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich.  Enjoy a homemade blueberry dessert served in the historic Jam Kitchen from 11am to 2pm for an $8 fee. Browse in the unique Mercantile offering Green Briar's own jams and a wide variety of nature-related items.  View the exhibits in the Thornton Burgess Gallery covering the life and works of the popular children's author and conservationist.  Take a peek inside the Live Animal Menagerie and Green Meadow Forest featuring Peter Rabbit and friends from the Burgess stories.  Stroll the paths of the award-winning Wildflower Garden and the beautiful grounds around the "Smiling Pool" pond.
