Mass Audubon Cape Cod is excited to bring back the Cape Cod Natural History Conference in-person on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 at the Cape Cod Community College in West Barnstable.

The conference, a 25-year-old tradition, was suspended in-person for three years due to the pandemic. Next March, it will return with a full slate of presentations featuring the latest science and environmental issues on the Cape and Islands.

The goal of the conference is to provide information about current ecological issues affecting the region, but also to give people, especially students, a chance to interact with professional researchers. These opportunities can be greatly enhanced when people can meet in-person, have conversations, and make connections with others in the community.

Request for Proposals

Mass Audubon is seeking requests for proposals that involve professional or personal research, studies, or observations focusing on the ecology, behavior, status, or distribution of local plants, animals, natural communities, and/or environmental restoration projects on Cape Cod. Individuals and organizations interested in presenting at the 2023 conference are encouraged to submit a proposal<https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforms.office.com%2Fpages%2Fresponsepage.aspx%3Fid%3DFL2s4J3Wqk6PAn7P8ogjL-OeZjqGqQ5FvA-ZobnWzSFUQ0FDNVJJVEtHV0xEVFlZMlJNWk5DSjhFMy4u&data=05%7C01%7Csemco%40whoi.edu%7C1b25e268a00a4a80238c08dae36fd1e5%7Cd44c5cc6d18c46cc8abd4fdf5b6e5944%7C0%7C0%7C638072367902715542%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=rpgJO45zopM9dY2Y4syrdf6nSYJp5mOXzZD6zJBsm44%3D&reserved=0> by December 31st, 2022.
