JAM CLASSES CONTINUE IN HISTORIC GREEN BRIAR JAM KITCHEN

Join a jam class in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich
and make your own homemade gifts for the holidays!  Participants each make 4
to 6 jars of jam to take home.    The two- hour classes are scheduled on
specific Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm or Saturday mornings at 9:30am:
November 6 or November 10, apple pie jam; November 17 or November 20,
cranberry chutney;  December 1, cranberry apple pear jam; December 8 or
December 15, holiday berry jam; December 18, holiday berry jam at either
9:30am or 1:30pm.    The class fee is $75 for members of the Thornton
Burgess Society and $85 for non-members.   Call 508-888-6870 for
registration details.

 

In addition to the above classes, a private jam class for 4 to 6 people may
be arranged.  Private classes are great for special family celebrations or a
fun way to get a group of friends together.  You choose the flavor for the
group to make focusing on fruits of the season. Choices include jams,
chutney, marmalade, conserves and pickles.
