Based on the March Madness NCAA basketball tournament, we created a fun opportunity for MBL’s friends to learn more about the organisms studied at the MBL. Instead of basketball teams, beloved MBL organisms will face off and YOU will have the opportunity to decide what organism is crowned victorious by voting for your favorite organisms in a series of head-to-head match-ups.

Tell Us Your Predictions!
Send your completed bracket to MarchMadness at mbl.edu<mailto:MarchMadness at mbl.edu> by 11:59PM ET on March 28 for a chance to a $50 gift card to the MBL Gift Shop<http://giftshop.mbl.edu/>. Vote for Your Favorites
Voting will take place on the MBL social media channels. You can also send us your bracket and we will tally your vote. From March 29 – April 7, you will have the opportunity to vote on TWO match-ups every day. Voting will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET. Each match-up will be posted on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
·         Facebook<https://www.facebook.com/mblscience>: Each like, share, and comment will earn that organism 1 vote. You can do each of these actions a maximum of ONCE per day to earn your chosen organism up to 3 votes per match-up on Facebook.
·         Instagram:<https://www.instagram.com/mblwoodshole> Head to our Instagram stories and vote in the live poll.
·         Twitter<http://twitter.com/mblscience>: A match-up poll will go live every morning. Vote for your preferred organism in the poll, just commenting below will not count as a vote!
Voting closes at 6 p.m. ET and each day votes across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter will be tallied. The following morning, the winners of the previous day’s match up will be posted.
