[SEMCO] FREE TALK: Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument With Dr. Kelly Kryc

Hello Ocean Lovers,

OPAK is excited to announce that the next guest speaker in our Virtual
Ocean Café Series will be Dr. Kelly Kryc! The Café will be focused on "The
Northeast Canyons and Seamounts Marine National Monument" and will be
presented on Thurs. Feb. 18th at 7pm EST on Zoom. You can expect to hear a
status update on the current protections of the marine monument.

Dr. Kelly Kryc is the Director of Conservation Policy and Leadership at the
Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life at the New England Aquarium, an
adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University’s Science in Public
Interest Program, an OPAK Board Member and  formerly held positions with
the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, the U.S. State
Department, The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and
the U.S. Department of the Interior
