a self-guided walk along the trail at

the Waquoit Bay Reserve featuring:

“The Adventures of Allie the Alewife”

by Barbara Brennessel and illustrated by Marisa Picariello.

To participate, just follow the laminated pages of the book posted along the trail. You will discover the amazing life cycle of the river herring that migrate into the bay each spring, traveling up rivers to their freshwater spawning areas.

•Please record the number of adults and children in your group on the notepad in the box at the end of the walk.
