Zoom book reading - November 12th at 1 PM
Bog walk at the Center Hill Preserve (*limited spots*) - November 13th at 1
PM

Do you have children in elementary school? Are you looking for ways
to encourage them to explore the outdoors, increase their
understanding of science and the natural world, and learn about an
Aquinnah Wampanoag tradition?

Join SEMPBA for a two-part cranberry educational event.  The first
part will take place next Thursday, November 12th, on Zoom at 1PM for
a guided reading of Cranberry Day, a book about fall cranberry
harvests written by Janette Vanderhoop, a member of the Aquinnah
Wampanoag tribe on Martha’s Vineyard.

The second component of the event is a guided walk around the former
cranberry bog at the Center Hill Preserve and a fun, socially distant
cranberry STEM activity the following day on Friday, November 13th at
1PM. We will be limiting the number of people attending this walk and
participating in the activity, so sign up soon if you want to reserve
a spot for your child!

sign up separately for each. Thank you!
