Cape Cod Wildlife Festival - 10th Annual Cape Cod Wildlife Festival Celebrating Ten Years Saturday September 7th, 2019 10 am to 3 pm Sponsored by The Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative FREE EVENT Exhibits ~ Live Animal Presentations ~ Educational Activities Music ~ Food ~ Drinks ~ Ice Cream The Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative presents the FREE 10th annual Cape Cod Wildlife Festival on Saturday, September 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mass Audubon’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, 345 Bone Hill Road, Barnstable. Free to the general public, the Festival showcases local environmental groups dedicated to Cape Cod wildlife and habitats. The Cape Cod Wildlife Festival will feature exhibits, information, and fun educational activities from Collaborative members Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, Barnstable Land Trust, Cape Wildlife Center, Center for Coastal Studies, Friends of Cape Wildlife, IFAW Marine Mammal Rescue & Research, Mass Audubon Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, National Marine Life Center, Orenda Wildlife Land Trust, Whale & Dolphin Conservation, and Wild Care. The Festival will also feature live animal education presentations with Rick the Creature Teacher; food, drinks, and ice cream from Cape Cod Donuts, Lewis Brothers Ice Cream, and John’s Dogs and More; and live music from local band Just Another Guru. The Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative will offer a 10th Anniversary Prize Package that will include behind-the-scenes tours, boat trips and guided trail walks. ** Orenda Wildlife Land Trust preserves and protects open space for wildlife habitat, fresh air, and water quality in sanctuaries on Cape Cod and throughout Massachusetts. We own or manage twenty-seven sanctuaries covering over 475 acres. Orenda also partners with other land trusts in protecting nearly 800 acres of open space.
