GINGERBREAD DAY IN THE GREEN BRIAR JAM KITCHEN

Celebrate the charming and delicious holiday tradition of gingerbread on
Saturday, December 7 from 11am to 3pm during "Gingerbread Day" at the Green
Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen.  Green Briar's cozy, old-fashioned
atmosphere is the perfect spot for the whole family to get into the spirit
of the holiday season!  Ongoing activities include decorating gingerbread
people, enjoying s'mores and a hot drink bar, joining in a gingerbread story
time, creating gingerbread crafts, and viewing jam making demonstrations in
the historic Jam Kitchen...all for $8 per person.  Also, be sure to check
out the Gingerbread Bake Sale for some tasty homemade goodies and browse in
the unique Mercantile for lots of great gift ideas along with our jams and
jellies.  Green Briar is located at 6 Discovery Hill Road, just off Route 6A
