[SEMCO] Application deadline, Ocean Exploration: Naval Science and Technology Camp

The *deadline to apply *for the Inner Space Center's (ISC's)
<http://www.innerspacecenter.org/> Summer 2019 session of *Ocean
Exploration: Naval Science and Technology Camp* is* tomorrow, Friday, May
10, 2019.*

This week-long, hands-on day camp, run in partnership with the *University
of Rhode Island College of Engineering *and hosted at the *URI Graduate
School of Oceanography in Narragansett, RI*, will focus on exploring the
ocean using marine technologies. Campers will build and test a variety of
oceanographic instruments, such as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and
engage with scientists who are involved in active missions to explore the
otherwise “unknown ocean.”

With funding from the U.S. Office of Naval Research STEM program, the ISC
is able to offer a discounted cost of *$200/camper* for this week-long
camp. *Current high school students (enrolled through the 2019/2020 school
