A Closer Look at the Phytoplankton in Waquoit Bay

Phytoplankton are the base of all aquatic food-webs. Recent research in Waquoit Bay examined how phytoplankton species and their abundance varied throughout the year and various locations throughout the Bay.

Coexisting with Wildlife -
Cape Cod Rabies Program

Wildlife biologists from the Cape Cod Rabies Program have instituted a rabies vaccination program for raccoons, foxes, coyotes, and other rabies carriers on Cape Cod including within Waquoit Bay Reserve lands.

Learn abou the history of rabies on Cape Cod and how scientists are studying its extent and how to protect human health.
