The 14th Annual Cape Cod Canal Boating and Water Safety Day will be held Saturday June 29th, 2019 from 10 AM - 2 PM (rain or shine) at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center located at 60 Ed Moffitt Drive Sandwich MA. Admission is Free!


Spend the day at the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center playing games, trying out interactive exhibits, and talking to professionals about all the ways you can prepare for a safe & fun summer on The Cape!

Get a Free Vessel Safety Check from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
Experience an at sea emergency in the Coast Guard Damage Control Trailer
Celebrate and Enjoy the NEW fishing Exhibit inside the Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center created by The Division of Marine Fisheries then step outside and fish the canal (poles & bait provided)
Tour the U.S. Coast Guard & U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Boats in the Sandwich Marina Cape Cod Canal
Dunk a Park Ranger
Meet a 45 ft inflatable Whale
Learn about Marine Debris & its effects on marine life
