Margaret A. Davidson Graduate Fellowship Opportunity
NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management is pleased to announce the federal funding opportunity (FFO) for the new Margaret A. Davidson Graduate Fellowship. This program will offer graduate students admitted to or enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program the opportunity to conduct estuarine research within a National Estuarine Research Reserve.
One fellowship will be offered at each of the 29 reserves in the national system. Fellows will focus their 2-year research projects on key reserve management questions to help scientists and communities understand coastal challenges that may influence future policy and management strategies. Preliminary information about the new program and a link to the FFO can be found at coast.noaa.gov/nerrs/research/davidson-fellowship.html <http://coast.noaa.gov/nerrs/research/davidson-fellowship.html>.
