Beetle Walk with Tim Simmons

Tim Simmons is a local restoration ecologist and expert on the coastal pine barrens. Join Tim, the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance and the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest for an amazing beetle walk.

We hope to catch a glimpse of the endangered Barrens Tiger Beetle, as well as other native insects. 

Note: please no dogs.

Meet at Fivemile Road and SE Line Road in Myles Standish State Forest at the entrance of Camp Cachalot. Park off the side of the road.
