The 2019 Sea Change environmental film series, co-sponsored by Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, and WCAI, kicks off on Saturday, February 16th from 7-9 PM with a look at one of the Cape's most familiar and charismatic wild creatures.

The PBS Nature film, Fox Tales, provides intimate views of the red fox, an animal that has come to lead an increasingly public life. Red foxes have expanded their range across North America and manage to thrive in widely divergent habitats. Although foxes live in close proximity to humans, their day-to-day lives are a mystery for most of us.

After the film, there will be a panel discussion moderated by WCAI's Steve Junker. Panelists include Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary science coordinator Mark Faherty and wildlife veterinarian Priya Patel of Cape Wildlife in Barnstable. Learn about the best ways to interact with these fascinating critters and bring your own favorite fox tale!

The film will be screened at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, located at 2357 Route 6 in South Wellfleet. The venue fee is $12 per person. Tickets may be reserved online at what.org or by calling the WHAT box office at 508-349-9428. For more information, go to www.massaudubon.org/wellfleetbay.
