The Inner Space Center (ISC) <http://innerspacecenter.org/> is excited to offer two, day camp experiences this summer!  

Only a few open spots remain for the Summer 2019 session of Ocean Science Exploration Camp <http://innerspacecenter.org/education-outreach/camps/>, which will take place from July 15-19, 2019, and will focus on physical oceanography. During this week-long, day camp, youth, ages 11-14, will investigate oceanographic concepts such as density, buoyancy, water pressure, and salinity, as well as explore the science and dynamics of ocean currents, tides, and waves. The University of Rhode Island/Graduate School of Oceanography (URI/GSO) campus (Narragansett, RI) and its surrounding waters offer a unique estuarine environment for coastal exploration activities. http://innerspacecenter.org/education-outreach/camps/ <http://innerspacecenter.org/education-outreach/camps/>


Applications for Ocean Exploration: Naval Science and Technology Camp <http://innerspacecenter.org/2019/03/ocean-exploration-naval-science-and-technology-camp/> are due by Friday, May 10, 2019.  This week-long, day camp will take place from July 8-12, 2019, at URI/GSO in Narragansett, RI, and is geared towards current high school students (ages 15-18). It will focus on building and testing a variety of oceanographic tools and instruments, including remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
