[SEMCO] TOMORROW: Vex robotics tournament at Mini Maker Faire!

*Vex Robotics Scrimmage at Mini Maker Faire April 27*
Join us for the first ever Cape & Islands Vex robotics
<http://vexrobotics.org> competition at the Cape Cod Mini Maker Faire
<http://capecodmakerfaire.com> on Saturday April 27 in the auditorium at
Mashpee Middle & High School. Students have been working diligently with
their coaches and mentors to design, build, program, and test robots to
compete in this year’s game-based engineering challenge
<https://www.vexrobotics.com/vexedr/competition>, which will be set up on a
12’x12’ field and follow an elimination match schedule. Thanks to a
regional grant received from the Robotics Education Competition Foundation
<http://roboticseducation.org>, there are 22 new middle and high school
robotics teams across the Cape & Islands who will be competing!

Bourne Middle School
Cape Cod Academy
Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School
Martha's Vineyard Regional High School
Mashpee Middle & High School
Nauset Middle School
Nauset Regional High School
Oak Bluffs Middle School
Provincetown Schools
Sandwich STEM Academy

Competition starts at 9:30 a.m., with an awards ceremony scheduled for 1:30
p.m.
