Tracking the Town Brook Travelers - River Herring Migration Before and After the Removal of Holmes Dam: Join Marine Resource Specialist Abigail Archer for this presentation about the current research at Town Brook after the removal of Holmes Dam. Researchers are using a tracking technology called passive integrated transponder, or PIT, to discover if the dam removal has helped river herring reach their spawning grounds in Billington Sea.
