[SEMCO] Film & Discussion Event in Wellfleet: Ocean Cities

This Saturday, April 20, from 7-9 PM, Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, WCAI Radio, and the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater present Ocean Cities, a documentary that demonstrates how some coastal cities around the world have responded to sea level rise and what lessons may apply to the Cape. After the film, WCAI science editor Heather Goldstone will lead a panel discussion about the new projects and public policies that may be necessary to protect life and property along the shore as the warming climate fuels more damaging storms.
The film will be screened at the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater. Tickets are $12 per person and may be reserved online at what.org or by calling the WHAT box office at 508-349-9428.
